Southland Health and Rehabilitation in Peachtree City welcomes the Peachtree City Police Department to provide a Merry Christmas for their residents this year. The department’s response to the request for Christmas gifts for the residents overwhelmed the staff of Southland. Major Mike Dupree said that the response from the Peachtree City community and businesses was tremendous. Several of the officers helped Santa pass out gifts to the residents. From left are Major Mike Dupree, Captain Terry Ernst, Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus (Mr. and Mrs. John Degroot), and Santa’s Helper and longtime Southland volunteer, Helen McNamee.
