0Mr. J.C. Ison, Jr., 81, of Brooks, passed away on March 6, 2011.
Mr. Ison was a member of Christ Church at Whitewater.
He is survived by his beloved wife Jean Ison; daughter, Judy Cochran and her husband Kevin of Williamson; four grandchildren; brothers, Charles Ison and his wife Peggy of Fayetteville, and Bobby Ison and his wife Susie of Brooks; sister, Annie Lou Fisher of Brooks; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville with Rev. Jack Smith officiating and Willie Lamb interpreting. Burial will follow at Brooks Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
