Several members of the youth group from Rolling Hills Baptist Church, along with parents, recently participated in a “Monday Mission” at the Georgia Baptist Children’s Home in Palmetto,

The group played Ultimate Frisbee with the children at the home, and then got down to some hard work spreading dirt, cleaning out some rock beds, and miscellaneous other tasks that the staff at the home needed help with.

Monday Missions is an annual youth service program conducted by Rolling Hills that keeps teens busy during summer vacation serving others.

According to the senior pastor, Frank Mercer, the program is “an opportunity to put ‘Monday feet’ to Sunday’s words, and change our community through small acts of kindness.”
