0The kids poured in to the parking lot and onto the sidewalk at Cleveland Elementary School Monday morning just in time for the first day of school. And, as usual, many of the elementary students came hand in hand with their parents, as with these first-day parents with their children. The school is on Lester Road off Ga. Highway 54 in the center of the county. Across the school system, Fayette reported 20,293 students this year compared to 20,894 students this time a year ago. Photo/Ben Nelms.
