Eleanor “Honey” Corbin, fine artist of Peachtree City, recently received word that her oil painting “Cattle Guard” has been selected for a national juried show in Louisville, Colo. The 26th Annual National Fine Art Show opens Sept. 4 and continues through Sept. 11, 2011.

The oil painting based on a photograph taken on a fall trip to Wyoming depicts a black bull standing by a cattle guard sternly eying the photographer while ostensibly guarding his harem on the open range.

Corbin’s work was selected for the 2010 Southern Living Idea House and a national juried show in Tubac, Ariz. Her work is shown locally at Beyond the Door, Senoia, Ga.
An overview of Corbin’s work can be seen on her website www.honeycorbin.com.
