The Peachtree City Fire Department hosted its annual haunted house for children 10 years old and older and adults. The Peachtree City Optimist Club hosted “The House of Clues” for children 3 years to 10 years old. The House of Clue was a non-scary event based on the Clue Mystery Game.

The Optimist club also provided the concession stand with hot dogs, chips, soft drinks, hot chocolate and homemade hot apple cider. Both events were a great success and they appreciated the public’s support of both organizations.

Optimist Club members were the cast members and the Starr’s Mill Octagon Club members and the Peachtree City Youth Council Members served as detectives that guided the children through the rooms to find the clues to solve the mystery. The children and their families enjoyed an evening of family fun.

The club’s next event is a pancake breakfast with Santa on Dec. 10 from 8-11 a.m. at the Peachtree City Masonic Center, 201 Whitlock Place. For information about the breakfast or becoming a member of the club, contact Tom Burdg at 770-486-6231 or Deanna Finn at 770-487-9340.
