Mrs. Kathryn Gayle Daniel, 68, died September 29, 2012.

Gayle was born and raised in Hapeville. She lived most of her married life in Fayetteville before moving to Lake Jackson in 2008. She was a long-time member of Corinth Baptist Church and a current member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Jackson.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Mike Daniel; daughter Celeste & Owen Hand of Newnan; son Kelly & Christie Daniel of Newnan; daughter Ginger & Steve Rodgers of Warner Robins; grandchildren Beth Smith, Morgan Pierce, John Hand, Katelyn Lee, Josh Lee and Rusty Hand and their families; sister-in-law Charlotte Darnell of Fayetteville.

A memorial service was held Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the Connection Church (formerly Corinth Baptist). Dr. John Jenkins and Rev. Lane Sanders officiated. The family received friends Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
