On Saturday, March 23, get ready for a new kind of outdoor challenge that will look like nothing you’ve ever seen before in this area. Join us for a five mile run along the Flint River and over an extensive set of man made and natural obstacles positioned throughout the sprawling Camp Thunder compound in Molena, Georgia.

Camp Thunder is the Lawhorn Scouting Base for the Boy Scouts of America’s Flint River council.

The Elite Challenger race begins at 9 a.m. and is for all the hardcore runners who want to race to win. Teams of 5 or more participants will receive a 15 percent discount on entry fees.

This event includes a family course with scaled down obstacles. Food and drink vendors will be on site along with a live DJ.

Early registration is open now at www.eaglecovequest.com.

Please visit the website for more information including special hotel rates and on-site camping. Sponsorship and volunteer opportunities are also available.

Promise Place is a non-profit domestic violence agency serving victims of domestic violence and their children in Fayette, Spalding, Pike and Upson counties.
All registration fees are tax deductible.
