Mr. John “Jay” Thomas Zellner Sr. of Fayetteville passed away on Aug. 1, 2013.

A funeral service was held 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013 at Jonesboro First United Methodist Church, Jonesboro. Rev. Dr. George Freeman officiated. The burial was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville.

Mr. Zellner enjoyed a managerial international career traveling over 20 times to South Africa and other parts of the globe. He was a fine Christian man, loving father, and devoted husband. Jay was generous to a fault in support of his family activities.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Zellner; sons John Zellner Jr. and Mark Zellner; daughters, Natalie Zellner Disantis and Ila Zellner Langan; grandchildren Dennis Disantis and James Langan; brother, Rev. Dan Zellner; also nieces and nephews.
