David Biemiller and Connie Biemiller Thomas are proud to announce the marriage of their daughter, Emily Genel Biemiller to Ryan Michael Fortney on August 10, 2013. The couple exchanged their vows on St. Simon’s Island, Ga. And, the ceremony was officiated by The Reverend Jeffery Halenza of Christ our Hope Lutheran Church, Riverdale, Ga. at The Epworth Lovely Lane Chapel. An elegant reception followed at the King and Prince Resort. In lieu of wedding favors, the couple donated funds in each attendees name to the Georgia Sea Turtle Foundation.

Emily is a graduate of Sandy Creek High School, Tyrone, Ga. and completed her undergraduate work at Georgia College and State University with a BS in Psychology. She is presently completing her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Georgia School of Professional Psychology.

Ryan is a graduate of Lassiter High School, Marietta, Ga. and completed his undergraduate work at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. As a First Lieutenant, Ryan serves as a pilot in the United States Air Force. He is also currently completing a Masters degree in Business.

The couple enjoyed a wonderful honeymoon in Costa Rica and will later reside in Charleston, S.C.

Emily is the granddaughter of Genelda and Larry Clinton of Fayetteville, Ga. and the great grand-daughter of the late Doris High of Union City, Ga.
