Daniel Arthur Nagel, of Fayetteville, passed away September 13, 2013.

He served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years. He retired after 38 years of service with Bellsouth. He was an avid wood worker and craftsman who loved gardening, fishing and hunting.

He was preceded in death by his son Randall Nagel and 2 brothers.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dottie Nagel; sons Stanley Nagel of Fayetteville and Russell (Dawn) Nagel of McDonough; daughter-in-law Mariellen Nagel of Stockbridge; 4 grandchildren, Daniel (Carmen), Corey, Noah and Savannah; 1 great-grandchild Isabella Rae Nagel; and sister Linda (John) Malcolm of Fredonia, N.Y.

A graveside service was held Monday, September 16, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Rev. Wally Woodcock officiated.
