Mr. Matthew G. Bishop, age 42, of Tyrone, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2014. He was born December 25, 1971 in Atlanta, the son of Mr. Jerry Lee Bishop and Mrs. Mary Greer Bishop. He worked for J.J. Morley Enterprises for many years. He was an avid Georgia Bulldog Fan and a part-time Sous Chef. 

He is survived by his sons, Daniel Bishop of Fayetteville and Nathan Bishop of Fayetteville; sister and brother-in-law, Gina and Eddie Oliver of Newnan; brother, Shane Bishop of Fayetteville; three nieces, Katie, Chloe, and Tori; five nephews, Ethan, Trevor, Ryan, Joey, and Blake. 

The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Saturday, March 1, 2014 from 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Jerald Reid officiating.
