Longing for the lake’s return

Kudos to Mr. Charles Phillis (The Citizen, Letters to the Editor, July 30, 2014). We came to Peachtree City from south Texas two years ago and rented a golf cart and took a couple of days in what we thought was the most beautiful place we had ever seen, sold our house in Texas and purchased a home here.

“Sunset on Peachtree lake.“ Now what do we have? Weeds and a bunch of folks who were elected to take care of these kind of things.

And what are they doing? Passing the buck, afraid to make a stand.

Come on, people, at least get the dredging started while you can find another consultant to hire.

I miss taking my sweetie to the lake for a sunset.
