Juanita G. “Tootsie” Blanton, 82, of Fayetteville, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2014.

She was preceded in death by her husband Troy A. Blanton and son John Clay Blanton.

She is survived by her son Toby (Sarah) Blanton of Brooks; grandchildren Jonathan Clay (Desiree) Blanton of Fayetteville, Benjamin Troy Blanton and fiancé Jackie William of Orlando, Anna Elisabeth Blanton, Courtney Marie Blanton, and Madelyn Rae Blanton, all of Brooks; beloved dog DD; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; nieces & nephews, and special friend & caregiver Marie Knowles.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Reverend Glenn Stringham and Mike Daniel will officiate. The burial will follow at Camp Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
