Mrs. Lois P. Jones of Peachtree City passed away December 15, 2014.

She was born in Ft. Eustis, Va. and moved to Georgia as a teenager. She was a 1948 graduate of Fulton High School in Atlanta, Ga. She married James Daniel Jones in Forest Park, Ga. in 1950 and remained faithfully married for 64 years, and together raised four lovely children. She worked for H & R Block in Fayetteville after having retired from the Federal Aviation Administration with 27 years of federal service. She was a member of North Fayette United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and National Association of Active and Retired Federal Employees.

Her son, Keith and brother, Stanley L. Pearce predeceased her.

She is survived by her daughters, Dr. Dianne Ford of Peachtree City, Ellen and Michael Snyder of Kennesaw, Ga., son, Mark and Cindy Jones of Winterville, Ga.; grandchildren, Timothy Jones, Krissy and Justin King, Remington and April Ford, Janie and Katie Snyder; step-grandchildren, Matthew and Emily; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Sylvia and Ron Rumsey; sister in-law, Erma Pearce; several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 1 p.m. at North Fayette United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. Those wishing may sign the online guestbook at www.parrottfuneralhome.com.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at North Fayette United Methodist Church.
