0Jenny Jones is the Newnan-Coweta Art Association’s (NCAA) January Artist of the Month.
She is a native of Newnan who worked for Newnan Utilities for 26 years before retiring in 2009. She is a member of the art association and also a member of the Unity Baptist Church of Newnan.
Jones teaches art at her own Newnan gallery, Corner Arts Gallery & Studio, and also displays the work of about 30 local artists there.
The NCAA meets the third Thursday each month from September through May at the Harriet Alexander Art Center on Hospital Road at 7 p.m. Visitors and new members are welcome. An art demonstration is presented each month.
