The Senoia Area Historical Museum is concentrating on the history of fashion during February and displaying a collection of ladies accessories.

Hats, shoes, gloves, hankies, vintage and antique jewelry are all included as part of the exhibit “My Fair Ladies: An Archive of Vintage Accessories.”

The collection is on display at the historic 1860’s Carmichael home located at 6 Couch Street.

One hundred years of beautiful styles and designs will be represented; Cotillion gloves, silk wedding shoes, a Civil War era “mourning pin,” and bejeweled plastic earrings from the 1950s are among the unique pieces to be shown through Feb. 28.

The museum is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Admission is free, but donations are happily accepted.
