The February meeting of the Senoia Area Historical Society will feature 9-year-old filmmaker and historian Sophie Brynes.

Sophie will present her first place award winning film “History of Senoia” to the group on Thursday, Feb. 12 at 7 p.m.

Sophie’s winning entry was part of the West Georgia Technology Regional Fair for grades 3 through 12. She came out on top in the Third & Fourth Grade Animated Graphic Design category.

The group meets at 6 Couch Street and will serve light refreshments at 6:30 p.m. before the meeting begins. Meetings are open to the public.
