First Grade students at Cleveland Elementary School in Fayetteville showed off their creativity during the annual “Invention Convention.”

After studying Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, and George Washington Carver, each student made a prototype of his own invention that would solve a problem or help someone complete a task more easily.

The inventions were shared with the kindergarten students, faculty, and parents at the convention.
