The Peaches in the Pines festival is scheduled to make its debut June 20 at Lake Meriwether near Woodbury. The event will promote Meriwether’s two predominant agricultural products – peaches and timber.
The festival runs from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and will showcase arts and crafts, fun and games, delicious food, entertainment, an amateur BBQ competition along with peach pie and peach preserves contests, as well as an exhibition of the newly installed disc golf course.
Admission is $2 per person. Children 5 and under are free.
