Freedom Celebration 2015 planned at Flat Creek, Newnan First

Flat Creek Baptist Church and Newnan First Baptist Church will co-host Freedom Celebration 2015 June 28 and 29 at 7 p.m. each night. Friday’s service will be at Flat Creek and Saturday’s at Newnan First.

Guest speaker will be retired Lt. Col. Steve Russell, commanding officer in the capture of Saddam Hussein and now U.S. Congressmen for Oklahoma.

The services will consist of a performance by the combined choirs and orchestras of Flat Creek Baptist and Newnan First Baptist , an appearance by the color guard and a salute to the armed forces.

Flat Creek Baptist is on Flat Creek Trail, between Ga. Highway 54 and Tyrone Road about halfway between PTC and Fayetteville.  Newnan First Baptist is at 15 W. Washington St. in downtown Newnan.
