Rodney Neal Shelton, 65, of Fayetteville, passed away on June 23, 2015.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who is survived by his wife of 46 years, Charlotte Shelton; his sons Scott Shelton (Heather) and Jordan Shelton (Sheri); his daughter Melissa Guinn; his grandchildren Cheyenne, Brody, Ryver, Jordan, Jr. and Braxton. Rodney was known as “Old Man” and he was a beloved mentor to everyone he met.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Mowell Funeral Home, Peachtree City Chapel, with John Lemmings and Paul Widner officiating. The family received friends on Friday, June 26, 2015 at the funeral home. Interment will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Kansas Baptist Church, 2965 N. Highway 100, Waco, Ga. 30182. In honor of Rodney, the family requests casual dress at the services.
