WWII story is focus of Oct. 26 meeting

Fayette Senior Services will host “A Fortress and A Legacy” Monday, Oct. 26, 1-2 p.m. at the Gathering Place, 203 McIntosh Trail in Peachtree City.

Hear the fascinating story of Ross Greene’s quest to learn more about his uncle who was shot down during World War II. With just three pieces of information – name, date and location of the crash – Greene made it his mission to unravel the tale of his uncle’s legacy. Over 4 ½ years, Greene was able to discover the importance of the heroes of our nation that will have you wanting to ask more questions about the heroes you know. Greene has published the book “A Fortress and A Legacy” about this story.
