Coweta SD offers self-defense class

A self-defense class is being offered Monday, Oct. 5, at the Coweta County Sheriff’s Department.

The class will run from 6 p.m. to about 8-8:30 p.m., with 35 minutes in the classroom, and the rest of the time will be spent learning practical exercises. Those attending should wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes suited for physical activity, tennis shoes, and little to no jewelry. Participants are also asked to bring a bottle of water with them.
