State Rep. Ronnie Mabra of District 63 will again be giving away more than 1,000 turkeys to families in need in the days before Thanksgiving.
The fourth annual Mabra Turkey Giveaway is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 21, 9–11 a.m. at 5495 Old National Highway in the Grown Folks Plaza.
Since its inception in 2012, the event has provided more than 4,000 free turkeys to families in need, according to Mabra.
Families wanting to receive a free turkey can begin registering for the giveaway during the week of Nov. 16 at www.mabraturkeys.com or by calling 1-800-My-Attorney.
