The November meeting of the South Metro chapter of GeorgiaCarry.Org will be Thursday, Nov. 19, 6-8:30 p.m. at the Fayette Event Center, 174 North Glynn Street in Fayetteville. It is behind Arby’s and Captain Ds, off Hwy. 85, north of the court house.

There will be a meal time and social hour from 6-7 p.m. Guests will be bringing their best chili and all are invited to participate. The group will ask for donations to cover the costs of the drinks, silverware, plates, bowls and chili accoutrements. If you do not care for chili, you are welcome to come and visit or just attend the meeting which starts at 7 p.m. and no RSVP is required.

This month’s speaker at 7:30 will be Derrick Grayson, who is running for U.S. Sen. Johnny Isakson’s seat in the 2016 election.
