The Newnan Theatre Company has announced auditions for “Flies at the Well: The Trial of the Killer John Wallace”, the world premiere of a new play by W. Jeff Bishop, based on the historic events of 1948-50 in west central Georgia.

Those auditioning are requested to bring a current headshot, resume of experience, and

prepare a vocal selection (preferably a traditional hymn, gospel, or bluegrass style) and a one-to-two-minute dramatic monologue pulled from Southern literature or drama. Chorus members needed, all ages / races.

Auditions will take place at 27 Clark Street in Newnan by appointment on:

Jan. 16 and 23 (Saturdays) from noon to 5 p.m.

Jan. 17 and 24 (Sundays) from 2-6 p.m.
