Margaret Shore Abraham, 99, of Newnan, passed away March 19, 2016.

She was an active member of the Church of Christ in East Point, Newnan, and Peachtree City. Margaret grew up in Rives, Tenn., and relocated to the Atlanta area when Roy transferred with Delta Airlines in 1954.

Margaret was preceded in death in 2014 by her husband of 66 years, Roy Abraham.

Margaret is survived by her sons Bruce (Rhonda) Abraham, Cumming; and Kim (Janice) Abraham, Alexandria, Va.; and daughters Karen (Greg) Harris, Phoenix, Ariz.; and Jeanne Abraham and husband (Don Bradford), Sharpsburg; and grandchildren Kathryn, Robert, Caroline, Rebecca Abraham of Atlanta; Lena Abraham of Washington D.C.; Beth Newsome of Va.; and Scott Bradford of Germany.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 12 p.m. at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Peachtree City, with George Cunningham and Charles Thompson officiating. Internment will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Malory Road, College Park at 2 p.m.

The family will receive friends and family at 11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
