High school students have the opportunity to earn scholarship money by volunteering at Clothes Less Traveled, a local nonprofit thrift store.

“The environment at CLT is so positive and uplifting for someone that age,” said a spokesperson. “Just this week, we had a high school student volunteering for his hours to apply for a scholarship through CLT. He was sorting in the back room and came across $456 in a donated purse. He immediately told an employee and we were able to get the money back to the donor.”

High school students, check out the $25,000 in merit-based college scholarships to be awarded this spring by The Clothes Less Traveled. If you have volunteered at CLT you are eligible for a scholarship.

CLT grants up to $25,000 in college scholarships each year, with individual one-time scholarships valued up to $7,500 each. Postmark deadline for all required application materials is May 15.
