Fayette County’s Bark For Life is scheduled for Sunday, April 24, 1-4 p.m. at Shakerag Knoll in Peachtree City.

“This is our seventh year and the event has grown tremendously,” according to a spokesperson.

The American Cancer Society Bark For Life is a noncompetitive walk event for dogs and their owners to raise funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society’s fight against cancer. It is always held the last Sunday in April. Each entrant can register a dog for a $20 online donation.

Each participant is invited to bring his or her best canine friend for a fun-filled day starting with a walk, and then continuing with demonstrations, contests, and games.
