Billy Ray Taylor, 81, of Senoia passed away on June 15, 2016.  

He was born on March 8, 1935 in Fairview, Ala. to Savola Beatrice Henry and William Arthur Taylor.  

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Taylor; his sons, Michael Taylor and Kenneth Taylor; and his parents.  

He is survived by his daughter, Sandy Smith of Senoia; his grandson, Mike McElwaney of McDonough; his granddaughter, Melissa Smith; his adopted grandson, Tom Robinson; his niece, Linda O’Shields; his nephew, Donald Hayes; and several great nieces and nephews.  

A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 17, 2016, at Senoia City Cemetery, with Pastor Buddy Waldron officiating. The family received friends at Mowell Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday evening, June 16, 2016.
