This summer, the Newnan-Coweta Historical Society wants to take visitors on a blast from the past with “Decade Days.”
The first theme, Sounds of the 60s, will allow you to show off your mementos and share your memories of music, concerts, and television from the 1960s. Items participants are encouraged to bring and share with the group can include anything relating to 1960s music such as records, photographs, concert tickets, advertisements, and many more. Bring your school memories, too (Newnan High, Howard Warner, Central, etc.).
Come to this free event Thursday, June 23, at 2 p.m. at the McRitchie-Hollis Museum.
