A retail store in at The Avenue in Peachtree City specializing in clothes and items for children received a bomb threat on June 23. The store was subsequently cleared for patrons to return.
Reports from the Peachtree City Police Department noted that a bomb threat was placed at The Children’s Place on City Circle at The Avenue.
Officers responding to the scene at approximately 2:30 p.m. were told that an unknown male called the business saying he was going to “blow the store up,” according to reports.
The store was cleared by officers and patrons were allowed back into the business, reports said.
