0Mrs. Essie Thompson, age 95, of Tyrone, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Thompson and is survived by her son, James Thompson, Sr. and his wife, Cathy of Peachtree City; grandchildren, James Thompson, Jr. and his wife, Vanessa, David Thompson, Kaylyn Thompson; great grandchildren, Genny and J.J.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel DeJong officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
