Runners moving on to state

All four boys and girls teams in Region 3-AAAAA from Fayette schools qualified for the state cross country meet last weekend.

Starr’s Mill finished first on the boys’ side, followed by Whitewater, McIntosh and Fayette County.

McIntosh was atop the girls’ standings, followed by Starr’s Mill, Whitewater and Fayette County.

The state meet is next weekend in Carrollton.
