A message from Santa Claus to all the kids who have been “nice” this year – “Come see me in downtown Newnan on Nov. 25.”

With the busy holiday schedule filling up, Santa wanted to make sure that kids in Coweta County got their Christmas wishes in early.

To accomplish that, Santa Claus will make his grand entrance into the city of Newnan on Friday, Nov. 25 at 6 p.m.

After arriving on the Newnan Fire Department’s antique fire truck, Santa will be seated on the north side of the Courthouse Square.

Children are encouraged to bring their Christmas lists and wishes. Santa will be available until 8 p.m., city staff said.

According to Special Events Coordinator Paige Deweese, downtown Newnan is always beautiful but especially during the holiday season and the arrival of Santa has been a long tradition for the city.
