Tree lighting is Dec. 4

The town of Tyrone’s annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 4, 5:30-7:30 p.m. in Shamrock Park.

There will be music from the Robert J. Burch Elementary School Chorus, Flat Rock Middle School Chorus, Sandy Creek High School Jazz Band, The Way of Life Church Kids and Carols with Singers from Operation Mobilization.

The tree lighting will be led by Mayor Eric Dial.

Santa will be there to listen to your Christmas wishes and take pictures. There will also be horse and carriage rides, train rides, ornament making and refreshments will be available.
