Two armed men on Dec. 15 robbed employees of the Subway restaurant on Ga. Highway 138 at gunpoint. The two employees on duty were bound but unharmed.

Sheriff Barry Babb said two black males wearing hoodies with masks and carrying handguns entered the Subway just before 10 p.m.

Babb said two employees, and no customers, were in the building at the time of the robbery.

The employees, a male and a female, were taken to the rear of the store and had their hands and feet tied together and made to lie face-down on the floor, Babb said.

The two masked men removed the cash drawer and exited through the rear door, said Babb.

Anyone with information pertaining to this crime is asked to contact the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division at 770-461-6353.
