Busy time for Chiefettes

The Chiefettes, McIntosh High School’s competitive dance team coached by Carmen Yarbrough and Adrienne Scasny, are gearing up for a busy few weeks.

First on the schedule is the UDA Alabama Dance Championship Jan. 28 in Hoover, Ala. The following weekend, Feb. 3-5, the team is scheduled to be in Orlando for the UDA National Dance Team Championship.

The competition season concludes with the UDA Georgia Dance Championship which the team will host Feb. 11 at McIntosh High School. The event is scheduled to run from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Tickets will be available at the door for $5.
