The AFC Lightning U9 girls team is getting ready to kick off another soccer season, but before that the players got together for a community service project.

The team members donated their time at the Midwest Food Bank in Peachtree City to pack food to be shipped to those in need.

Currently ranked as the number-two team in Georgia for their age group, the U9 AFC Lightning Girls finished off their most recent season with medals in both of their postseason tournaments.
