Jeanne Louise Baney, 62, formerly of Mechanicsburg, Penn., passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 13, 2017 after a seven-year hard fought battle with breast cancer and brain cancer.  Jeanne was the daughter of Patricia and Jack Brightbill, both of whom preceded her in death. She was a 1972 graduate of Cumberland Valley High School. She also was employed by Bella PA Telephone Company as a dispatcher..

Jeanne is survived by her husband, Barry Lee Baney; her sons, Josh Baney (Mary Beth) of Nashville, Tenn. and Keith Baney (Maria) of Newnan; her grandchildren, Kimberly, Roman, Marshall, Everly and Lucy; four sisters and two brothers.

A memorial service was held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville Chapel, with Reverend Bob Partridge officiating. The family received friends from 12:30-1:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
