Flood warning issued for Line Creek

The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for Line Creek until further notice.

The warning was announced at 11:23 a.m. on Thursday, noting that at that time the creek stood at 9.9 feet and rising. Flood stage is 10 feet.

At 10 feet minor flooding of the natural flood plain begins and primarily affects agricultural and wooded areas.

The creek crosses Rockaway Road at the Fayette County line and flows under Ga. Highway 85 on Senoia’s north side.
