Evelyn Caroline Williams, 88, of Fayetteville, passed away August 12, 2017.

She was born on May 19, 1929 in Fayetteville, Ga. to the late Sallie and Earnest Williams, Sr.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her sisters, Margaret Burdette, Dorothy Burdette, Doris Watson and Kathleen Bray; brother, Leonard Williams and her parents.

She is survived by her brother, Earnest (Carol) Williams, Jr. and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville.  Burial will follow at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
