Fayetteville welcomed its furriest new member to the police department Thursday night. K-9 Finn, a 16-month-old dual-purpose German shepherd made his debut at the City Council meeting. Finn and his human partner, Officer Josh Riviere, completed the six-week training course at the Alabama K-9 Law Enforcement Officers Training Center in Northport, Ala.Finn and Riviere will assist the city’s patrol units and will be available to other jurisdictions as well.
