PTC Council to consider new rules about special events held in the city

The Sept. 7 meeting of the Peachtree City Council will include topics relating to special events held in the city.

A public hearing will be conducted pertaining to an amendment to the zoning ordinance dealing with the creation of a special events permit.

The council is also tentatively set to review the budget for the Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Also on the agenda, the staff topics portion of the meeting will include a discussion on Keep Peachtree City Beautiful funding and a discussion on a policy or process for special events held on public property.
