Charles Andrew Griffin, 81, of Fayetteville, passed away February 5, 2018.

He was born October 14, 1936 to the late James A. (Sam) and Adell Griffin of Fayetteville. He graduated Fayette County High School in 1955 and lived in Fayetteville most of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister (Annette Jackson). Charles leaves behind his children, son, Michael Griffin, daughter, Lori Turner and grandchildren, Jim Swearingen, John Griffin, Andrew Turner and Kayla Turner.

Charles was an avid golfer and Bulldog fan, who enjoyed sports and spending time with family and friends. He was a humble and kind man with a great sense of humor and will be remembered by many for the jokes he shared.

A Celebration of Life Event will be held at his daughters’ house in Senoia, on Saturday, February 17th at 4 p.m. All attending will certainly have stories to share that will bring smiles and laughter to all who gather to remember Charles and Celebrate his Life.
