The movie set for “The Devil’s Bible” was in full-swing in downtown Fayetteville during the nightime hours Feb. 18, filming in the alley behind the retail stores on Glynn Street off the courthouse square. The movie is thought to contain historic elements of events in Massachusetts more than 300 years ago, around the era of the infamous Salem witch trials, and reportedly some locals will be seen on-camera in nonspeaking parts.
