A triangular-shaped parcel near the corner of Ga. Highway 54 and Sumner Road east of Peachtree City was approved for three residential lots on June 28 by the Fayette County Commission.
The 4-0 vote came after a brief discussion. Chairman Eric Maxwell was not at the meeting.
At 3.4 acres, the owner requested rezoning from large tract residential to R-45 zoning, which would accommodate three one-acre lots.
The triangular-shaped property fronts both Hwy. 54 and Sumner Road.
The Fayette County Planning Commission previously recommended approval.
