Among the items at the Aug. 23 meeting of the Fayette County Commission will be rezoning requests to establish single-family subdivisions on Dogwood Trail, Westbridge Road and Old Ford Road.

One of the requests proposes to rezone approximately 18 acres fronting Dogwood Trail in central Fayette for agricultural-residential (A-R) to zoning to accommodate six residential lots.

A second request deals with 46 acres fronting Westbridge Road in northeast Fayette for 23 single-family lots. The property is bordered by Northridge subdivision to the south and near the Fulton County line to the north.

The third rezoning request proposes to develop 23 single-family lots on 40 acres fronting Old Ford Road off Westbridge Road. Both properties in the Westbridge area are zoned A-R.

County planning staff recommended approval of each of the rezoning requests.
