Fayetteville Mayor Ed Johnson (center right) was among those attending the April 27 dedication of the Church Street Park. Work done over the past few years to transform the park to its current state resulted from the efforts of the Fayetteville MOM’s Club. Members identified the need to make changes to the park and, through sponsors they enlisted and their own individual efforts, worked to transform the park located on the north side of downtown.
